I didn’t notice the mention of a helicopter’s maximum speed where the rotor breaks the sound barrier as half of it moves faster than sound as it moves forward along with the craft.

We’ll always have Sputnik🕊🕊
Soz can’t trust anything Russian…
The conclusion of the video didn’t age too well, the Surovikhin line showed that fortified lines can be extremely effective in modern war
With more research you will probably find they are reactive to frequency and cymatics as well
What if Genghis Khan never existed? Or if the stories about him were GREATLY embellished and he was just a slightly above average leader? 🤔
As always the MOD messed up with this class. It should have been nuclear, it should have had cats (if for no other reason than allowing multiple aircraft types) and it definitely should have had every in close defence system it could carry (did they learn nothing in 1982?). But that is just the way the brits have always done it, clearly we have never taken to heart "buy cheap, buy twice" and we always suffer because of it.
1000+ credits
I don't get why this isn't on one of your other 15 channels lol
When Simon was talking about Valentina Tereshkova I misheard him as saying "remains the youngest woman ever in space and the only woman to ever do it sober". Had to use the captions to see the correct word was "solo".
Quarterhorse Quarter house Court house 🤣
The Soviets and Americans hated each other so much that if either side had knowledge of any failures or cover ups they would have exposed those failures.
Quarterhorse, or quarterhouse?
Starship isn't going to Mars. It's shear fantasy. Flies pretty well in CGI, though.
You should stick with exaggerating every historical event which ever happened beyond any possible level of belief. I have two or three of you books on the shelves until it became obvious that that you are a BS'r par excellence
Bro that's a lot of fucking ads
right out of the Gerry Anderson play book prethunderbirds
You missed Japan
Imagine that. A source of power that lasts decades that we already have access to.
Do, dear channel, try to avoid substituting hyperbole and bait for historical accuracy. The Vixen had issues, but it was not as bad (compared to contemporaries) or weird as you made out.
There are many good books that give credit to so many other code breakers.
There are alot of planes that don't exist!
Saw a "donuts on a rope" over Rochester NY in the middle of the day on a weekend during a picnic at a ludicrous altitude and moving much faster than a commercial aircraft traveling North to South and crossed the entire sky in less than a minute. The whole family saw it, and whatever it was had to be pretty small as it wasn't clearly visible with cheap binoculars.
Original space habitat? Skylab.
4.4 billion gallons of toxic waste have been relased and the columbia 😢
A bald guy sponsored by hair loss snake oil? From now on, I'll take your content with more than one grain of salt.
You yack to much I’m out
13:49 That is all standard practice in any secure building. Any area some random idiot contractor could get lost or wander into, could very easily be infiltrated by a bad actor. Spend any time in Gov't/Defense, Telecom, Finance, Critical infrastructure and it becomes very common place. Why do you think everyone is wearing badges and there are hand geometry, iris, fingerprint readers with cameras over head all over?
I remember as a kid that loved GI JOE, they came out with an Aurora type jet in the late 80's in the toy line and the comics....it was before any of the stealth jets came out during Desert Storm so I thought having an "invisible" aircraft wasn't possible...if I only knew😂
Please edit out the “quarterhouse”. Just hits me like fingernails on chalkboard.
Please do a video on the Temple to Apollo at Didyma.
I watched a Vulcan Bomber flight demo at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana in 1976. I was twelve, and it was the most awe-inspiring thing I have ever experienced before, or since. The sound was earth shattering. The rolls and hammerhead turns jaw-dropping. I met the Brit pilots and they graciously answered my questions. It was a good day.
The hull was Made in China, couldn't even fart in that thing without cracking the hull.
Yeah, pretty sure that was available in Command & Conquer Zero Hour over 20 years ago.
I live 30 mins from it and grew up by dc on the md side. Even as a kid in the 1980/90s we knew of the secret city in the mountain. A very nice Pennsylvania view point called high rock is on the back side of site R, Beautiful place.
There were rumors of the “shadow government” being headquartered there as well.
It's virtually the real-life version of the Poseidon Energy oil rig in Fallout 2.
Someone that wasn't even alive when the aircraft was in use think they know everything about it. That's what's wrong in this world. Shut your trap unless you lived it. PERIOD.
Simon, I’m shocked how badly you missed this connection: whatever Henry Ford’s stupid anti-Semitism, ironically his assembly line methods won WWII and defeated Hitler. While the Germans used scarce craftsmen to hand-craft masterpieces of engineering (fighters, tanks, guns) that were superior in quality but impossible to maintain in the field or manufacture in sufficient quantity, the Americans overwhelmed the battle field with arguably inferior mass-produced weapons (e.g. Sherman tank) that were standardized and more maintainable. A Tiger tank gets wounded, it gets abandoned on the side of the road; a Sherman tank gets wounded, it’s towed back to a forward repair shop and returned to battle. A German machine gun is more finely crafted to superior tolerances and fires more accurately and farther; but it’s bazillion complex hand-crafted parts are prone to breakdown and unsupplied to forward repair shops; an American machine gun is designed to be simple and cheap and manufacturable by untrained workers in large quantity, and though of inferior performance its numbers overwhelm the battlefield. And while the German infantry were towing their supply carts with horses, Ford-inspired factories were supplying American, Russian, and British troops with jeeps and trucks. The Ford plant at Willow Run outside Detroit was, at its peak, cranking out a B-24 bomber every 63 minutes, 24/7. Though there were occasionally quality concerns about aircraft assembled by unskilled workers instead of trained craftsmen, the sheer quantity had a quality all its own and accounted for a significant tonnage of the bombs dropped on Berlin.
We are told that There seem to be so few Britons volunteering for military service these days that they can't crew both carriers? Also, they are totally useless for real war! That aircraft cannot launch off these "jump jet" type carriers with a full fuel and bomb load!!! Silly! Outrageous!
I love the T-34/85 tank
I remember watching black ops 2 zombies theories where some people thought there was a hidden easter egg on tranzit that would unlock a second bus route that took you here
QuarterHORSE QuarterHORSE QuarterHORSE QuarterHORSE QuarterHORSE QuarterHORSE QuarterHORSE
Hold on, Halcyon the passenger jet that hits mach 4? Tell me how the hell are passengers going to be able to take the Mach 4 worths of G's blasting their body to make them and the seat they sit to be one merged together. So what they gonna make all the passengers wear a G-Suit ...lmfao Juyst imagine the flight accidents, there would be nothing left for the police to see for plane wreckage or bodies they would probably all vanish hitting the ground at that speed.
12:53 Good lord! The Tomcat was a strike bomber before the Strike Eagle.
Given the soviets notorious lack of respect for human life, those theories are not far fetched at all
Hopefully, the USA government grabs this before any other country gets dibs on it first. This could be lost if America doesn't leap onto this one or are they gonna gallop away from it. Even if they do get it its not much for another country to get the schematics of the F5 general electric motor and ease drop on the company to get the rest of the information they need hmmm hmmm China...... cough, cough the Mk2 holds similarities to say a Mig-19 or Mig-21? no? front end very much like it? Sorry just found that the Unites States Air Force has funded this project with tens of millions of $$$$$'s
Good Grief! I feel like I'm back in the late 50s and early 60s hearing the Air Force's argument on why the new F-4 Phantom doesn't need guns. They said no fighter would be able to get close enough since the F-4's missiles would knock out an opposing fighter before it ever got that close.
"Describing a first generation iShit", fanboi spotted, first iShit 10y after Nokia released their first smartphone.. Anyway hypersonic flight have big problem: they loud AF. Having commercial hypersonic planes would have same problems as Concordes, nobody likes them other than those who are using them.
Quarter horse to the slaughter house, say that three times fast.
